She served as the First Lady Head of the 159 year legacy, residential school, The Lawrence School, Lovedale, governed by the Ministry of Human Resource Development from March 2012 to August 2017. She served as Principal in a residential, public school in Western Rajasthan (The RKK School, Jodhpur) for nine years and as a Founder Principal in three new-age progressive schools (Greater Valley School, Greater Noida and the Billabong High International School, Noida and GEMS New Our Own Private High School, Sharjah).In the National Capital Region, Ms. Chima has successfully integrated professional development with Quality assurance programs in learning organizations. She is an empanelled Principal Assessor with the National Accreditation Board for Education and Training (NABET), a part of the Quality Council of India (QCI). She has also served as the Head of Curriculum and Training (CAT) of the Shiv Nadar Foundation. She has managed projects for a range of institutions, including school infrastructure, curriculum design and implementation, assessment and evaluation, adolescence education, accreditation for quality school governance, selection and performance management for staff which helps educators not only learn new skills, but also develop new insights into pedagogy and explore new or advanced understanding of content and resources. Ms. Chima is a trainer of Master Trainers in the CBSE's Adolescent Education Programme and is an empanelled Principal appointed by the CBSE Chairman to Inspect new schools for CSBE Affiliation. She has a penchant for collaboration, believing in participative democracy, a deep passion for teaching and enthusiasm for continuous learning.
