Sang is an award-winning fiction writer, TV Personality, public speaker, playwright, chef, restaurateur. He has launched some of the best known modern Japanese and Korean restaurant brands in Toronto, and was profiled in the New York Times #1 bestselling book, BETTER AND FASTER, by Jeremy Gutsche, for his innovative approach to food and restaurant marketing.His TV project, SEARCHING WITH CHEF SANG- Season One, about what happens at the intersection of food, pop culture and the Asian-Canadian experience aired primetime on TLN in Winter 2022/2023. With over 175K + participants since its inception in 2008, it is widely lauded for the joy it brings to participants and the work it does to raise awareness around food literacy and child poverty issues.
