 Duties Include Surveillance and Checking of Piping Fabrication and Installation Procedure and welding requirements, receiving materials to the Project quality procedure and clients project specific. Inspection and monitoring on fabrication and installation of pipe supports and various structures. Conducting Welder’s Qualification Test as per ASME Sec IX. Responsibilities include in monitoring and inspection of delivered and installed material as IS, BS ANSI & ASTM code and standards. Liaise with QC Engineer and client representative for day-to-day quality related activities of the project/contract. Inspection and acceptance of materials as per Specification and Project requirement. Visual Inspection of welds and accepting as per Project specifications and preparing reports making QCW clearance for further activities. Monitoring and Inspection of fit-up for pipe joints with dimensional and orientation, welding activities in all area of the project as per welding. Monitoring welding consumable control, welder qualification and welding activities at fabrication shop and field as per the (QCP). Monitoring positive material identification (PMI) for stainless steel, Alloy steel and copper Nickel associating with other tests like bend tests, hardness tests, Macro examinations.
