Through this initiative and campaign, we’re promoting not just voter participation but ensuring that elections remain inclusive and sustainable and that every voice, especially from marginalized communities, must influence India’s collective destiny.

“Antah Asti Prarambh” (अंतः अस्ति प्रारंभः।अंत से ही एक नई शुरुआत होती है।End is the Beginning)The journey began in September 2021 and concluded in October 2024, encompassing diverse learnings, challenges, experiences, setbacks, opportunities, and more. It included data-driven and evidence-based research, advocacy and campaign (Build Forward Better) endeavour on the theme of the "Impact of Climate Change on Persons with Disabilities", wherein I explored the intersectionality of climate change and disability and the need for universally accessible climate action and disaster risk reduction.My efforts explored how climate change acts as a 'threat multiplier' and has a multi-order domino effect that disproportionately impacts Vulnerable Communities, especially Persons with Disabilities (including its varied diversities), despite them contributing the least and being most vulnerable, and at the forefront of climate change-induced disaster risk reduction and environmental degradation impacts (concerning physical and mental health, disability-adjusted life years, accessibility and climate anxiety, losses and damages, migration and violence, etc.) and subject to the exclusionary and eco-ableist response that overlooks their specific needs of universal accessibility, reasonable accommodation, early warning system, etc., helps in achieving an all-inclusive, climate-resilient, sustainable, and universally accessible world that 'leaves no one behind'.Fellowship ensured cross-learning with spillover effect, resulting in an evolutionary journey where I worked towards disability-led development; inclusive climate action (including the National Mission under NAPCC 2008) and disaster risk reduction (DiDRR); and the convergence of inclusion and sustainability [For the 'Common Concerns of Humankind' (Sustainable Development Goals): Let's ‘Build Forward Better’ (Sustainability) Where ‘We All Belong’ (Inclusion)!]Baseline Report - [https://www.thesangyan.in/publications]

Carried out the research-based digital campaign to disseminate information, create awareness and sensitize relevant stakeholders about the disproportionate impact of climate change on vulnerable communities, especially persons with disabilities and other intersectional vulnerabilities including children with disabilities, women with disabilities, senior citizens with disabilities, old adults with disabilities, invisible/hidden disabilities, dynamic disabilities, chronic illnesses, rare diseases, psychological conditions, etc.
