Lead the bootloader development following Google’s Brillo bootloader requirements.• Develop misc HAL functions including boot control HAL and peripheral manger HAL for GPIO/I2C/SPI interface.• Port Weave software stack. Implement Weave LED and Weave Speaker function for CES demo.• Setup Chromium Moblab autotest environment for Brillo PTS. Make IAP140 pass the Brillo PTS. Sony Meros Smart Glasses R&D• Qt, Gstreamer and OpenGL porting and integration on Marvell PXA1088 to implement the H.264/MJPEG video streaming function.• Write the H.264/MJPEG Gstreamer plugin for the C&M coda7542 VPU to accelerate the video playback.AVB/TSN Standards R&D• Implement the IEEE 1722.1 protocol on Marvell 88E7251 including an AVDECC client and an AVDECC daemon.• Implement part of the IEEE 1722 protocol in Linux kernel to hook up the audio driver and the Ethernet driver. Write the code to transfer audio data based on IEC 61883-6 encapsulation. Implement the IOCTL interface for the AVTP module to be used by the upper-layer protocol.• Develop part of the 802.1Qav functions(priorityto traffic class mapping and bandwidth reservation) for the AVB SDK.• Attend Avnu Alliance plugfest. Pass the C&I test with other AVB vendors(XMOS/Broadcom/Bose).WD/Toshiba Wi-Fi HDD/Adapter R&D• Write the Linux device driver for the battery charger chip SP2566. Write a daemon process to implement the battery charging monitor function.• Design and implement the Web configuration interface of the system using libevent and JSON-RPC. Write and maintain the related API document. Implement the Wi-Fi AP/STA mode switching, device auto discovery and SD card auto backup function.• Change the build framework of the project from Scratchbox to Buildroot to support different platforms more easily. Rewrite makefile rules for each software package.
