Ghana-Peru Trade.More significantly, I developed the organization's 'CONFLICT OF INTEREST POLICY' which formed part of its 5-years mega strategic development plan beyond 2024.I also developed program proposals for the 'LET HER LEAD PROJECT' aimed at empowering about 50,000 young girls in both Senior and Junior High Schools in Greater Accra Region as well as developed both the project plan and program sponsorship proposal for the second edition of the Kandifo Institute's 'REGIONAL LEADERSHIP TRAINING PROGRAMME' aimed at building the capacities of about 150,000 youth across Ghana and mainly targeted Universities, Polytechnics, Colleges of Health and Education with the use of both in-person and virtual participation.I moderated most events as a Master of Ceremony.

    This was a voluntary and an unpaid role. I was elected into this role at the Ghana TVETs Stakeholders Meeting at the Golden Bean Hotel in Kumasi to lead the advocacy of the TVET policy nationwide.SUMMARY OF DUTIES:Assisted in Drafting the National Apprenticeship Policy for TVETs and submitted to Parliament of Ghana.KEY ACHIEVEMENTS/CONTRIBUTIONS:1. Developed a database of about 500 TVET stakeholders for constant communication, information sharing and dissemination as well as activity feedback reporting. These stakeholders included academic Professors and other university lecturers, owners and heads of TVET training institutions, program coordinators, Master Craftsmen and Trade Area Specialists.2. Established a team of four (4) regional coordinators in Greater Accra Region, Ashanti Region, the then Brong Ahafo Region (now, Bono, Bono East and Ahafo regions) and Northern Region of Ghana. This was a strategic communication chain of command to reach the Southern, Middlebelt and Northern sectors of Ghana.3. Took part in data collection and data analysis in the development of a comprehensive TVET policy, met with stakeholders at the regional levels, conducted focus-group discussions, developed activity reports through minutes of meetings, transcribed data collected, analysed data collected, and developed reports.4. I was part of the final policy document development, checked standards of writing in terms of content checks, grammar, text formatting as the development of the policy summary for presentation at the SWISS ALISA Hotel in Accra and the event was graced by the Deputy Minister for Education in charge of TVET, Hon. Mrs. Gifty Twum.

SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Established and managed a chapter of the United Nations Foundation Girl UP Project in Ghana that empowered the girl-child into the field of STEAM and represented at the annual Girl UP Summit in Washington DC, USA.KEY ACHIEVEMENTS/CONTRIBUTIONS:1.Registered the People Investing In People Foundation Ghana Chapter at the Registrar General's Department, Ghana Revenue Authority, Social Welfare Department and the Atebubu-Amantin Municipal Assembly for business operating permit. 2. Set up the project office in Ghana as well as hired, trained and managed local staff.3. Built partnership with Ghana Education Service both at the headquarters in Accra and at the project site in Atebubu. This partnership gave access to all schools (primary, junior and senior high) including their teachers and students to participate in activities of the foundation.4. Recruited and trained 100 students (10 students from 10 schools) yearly into an intensive STEAM training with a philosophy of changing mindsets to indigenous solutions to address communal problems.5. Liaised up with the US office, project partners and schools such as the Girl Up project of the United Nations Foundation, Black Engineers Society at the Yale University, Wolcott Senior High School, Wolcott Elementary Schools, Vernon Public Schools in Connecticut, for both virtual and in-person training of the above 100 students.6. Fostered good relationship with the Chiefs and Leaders of Atebubu Traditional Council, Christian and Islamic Religious Leaders, Departmental Heads of Government Institutions and private businesses with constant visitations and invitations to all of the foundation's activities.7. Hosted the project founder, partners, teachers and students from USA in Ghana for project monitoring, evaluation, feedback and improvement.8. Submitted reports (inventory, financial, activity and attendance) to the USA office.

    I assumed this position based on a promotion from a previous District Officer position from Central Gonja District (Savannah region) and a transfer to the Karaga District (Northern region of Ghana) as a Coordinator.SUMMARY OF ROLE:Coordinated technical assistance for implementation of activities with a range of development partners and collaborators at Regional level, District level, and private sector to leverage its investments in public health, maternal and child health, nutrition, agricultural transformation, IYCF, WASH and VSLA in 27 communities in Karaga District in the Northern region of Ghana.KEY ACHIEVEMENTS/CONTRIBUTIONS:1. Built team cohesion with District Staff (District Officer and Finance and Administrative Officer) and Project Office Staff ((Field Coordinator, Technical Advisors in the field of Nutrition (including Quality Improvement), WASH 1000, Agriculture/Aflatoxin (including VSLA and OFSP) and M & E, Finance Officers, and Deputy Chief of Party)), with support of project partners (Department of Agriculture, Karaga District Health Management Team, Environmental Health and Sanitation Unit, Community Development Unit and the Ghana Education Service for the purpose of School WASH) as well as grant partners and local stakeholders (both at the District and community levels) for a successful project outcomes.2. Oversighted the construction of 1,750 household latrines and handwashing stations in the District.3. Conducted about 217 triggering and post-triggering follow-ups to ensure cleanliness and WASH 1000 compliance in all the 27 communities within 3 months. 3. Led the Karaga District to score number 1 position on the Northern Regional Open Defecation Free (ODF) assessment league in 2017.4. Facilitated Quality Improvement (QI) sessions in 11 health centres in the Karaga District.5. Conducted about 12 Farmer Field School (FFS) sessions in 7 communities within the District.6.     The central goal of the USAID SPRING/GHANA Project was to contribute to an improved reduction of anaemia among pregnant women, lactating mothers (or caregivers) and children aged 0-2 years (1000 day-olds) in 25 Districts in the Northern part of Ghana and reporting with pride, I contributed to achieving a 4% reduction through my supporting role in Central Gonja District in the Savannah region as a District Officer.SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Assisted in the delivery of technical assistance for implementation of activities with a range of development partners and collaborators at Regional level, District level, and private sector to leverage its investments in public health, maternal and child health, nutrition, agricultural transformation, IYCF, WASH and VSLA in 27 communities in Central Gonja Districts.KEY ACHIEVEMENTS/CONTRIBUTIONS:1. Day to day running of the project office in Central Gonja District with multiple roles in administration, finance and programs management under the supervision of the Central Gonja District Coordinator. 2. Joined a team of 18 Agricultural Extension Agents (AEAs) for 123 Farmer Field School sessions in 27 communities.3. Coordinated training logistics (such as hotel accommodation and conference hall bookings, training materials such as notepads, pens, pencils, flip charts, markers as well as food, water and drinks for breakfast, lunch and dinner packages), attendance sheets and payment vouchers.5. Drove a minimum of about 150 Kilometres round trip a day during field activities in project communities. 6. Conducted about 48 supportive supervision of CWC sessions in all health centres with about 70 health staff. 7. Ensured the construction of about 5000 household latrines and handwashing stations in the 27 project communities in the District. 8. Collected the GPS data for the 2017 financial year (FY 17) communities in 7 different communities, riding an average of about 450 Kilometres on a motor bike for consecutive four (4) days.
