I am a Food and Beverage industry professional with an international experience. After working in the industry for nearly six years, I have gained deep knowledge of the same by working and studying in the United States, India and Italy. Over the period of last two years, I have worked hard to further myself in the management sector of this industry. As a future entrepreneur, I know the value of guest relations and community engagement. It is evident that in order to be successful in this industry having a one on one human connection is the key. At the age of eighteen, I took the decision to leave my home country of India and move to the United States to pursue my higher education. In doing so, I have proved myself to be a self-starter and a successful risk taker. After finishing my two intense Food and Beverage internship in Summit, NJ and Mumbai, India; I decided to spend a semester in Italy. Italy; a pioneer of gastrotourism, taught me the European tourism and hospitality culture. Here I had the good fortune to attend a few graduate courses in one of the top European tourism universities. Throughout the second year of my graduate school, I worked as a manager at the Committed Pig, in addition to my Graduate Assistantship. After successfully completing my M.S. in Hospitality Management Studies, I currently work as an Event Coordinator at Jockey Hollow Bar and Kitchen.
