As a Communications and Marketing Assistant within UVic’s Communications and Marketing department, I support the promotion of UVic’s reputation by contributing to a range of marketing activities. In this role, I assist with market research, campaign planning, and analysis to inform strategic communications initiatives. I engage in creating and managing content for social media, web, and digital advertising, including photo and video production using smartphones and DSLRs. My responsibilities also involve monitoring campaign performance through analytics, organizing image databases, and maintaining website content. This position allows me to apply my creative skills while exploring new areas in marketing, contributing to UVic’s brand and outreach efforts.
