I am a native of Puerto Rico, I am a compassionate individual with a strong commitment to serving our community. Born and raised in Puerto Rico, I developed a passion for helping people in need from an early age. My journey towards making a difference in the lives of others began after the devastating Hurricane Maria in 2017. With a keen interest in marketing, I pursued and successfully attained an associate degree in Marketing. Little did I know that my path would soon veer towards community service and humanitarian work. Witnessing the immense suffering and challenges faced by my fellow Puerto Ricans in the aftermath of Hurricane Maria, My innate desire to assist those in need was ignited.In 2023, My unwavering dedication to serving my community earned me a remarkable opportunity. I was appointed as the Director of Programs at the Farmworker Coordinating Council, a significant milestone in my journey. In my new role, I took on the responsibility of overseeing and managing programs designed to empower and uplift marginalized farmworkers.With my innate empathy and strong leadership skills, I embarked on a mission to provide hope and essential resources to those in need. I collaborated with local farmers, community leaders, and volunteers to create impactful initiatives that addressed the immediate needs of farmworkers and people in need, including access to healthcare, education, housing, and improved working conditions.My vision extends beyond immediate relief efforts. I believe in implementing sustainable solutions that foster long-term growth and well-being. Through my role as the Director of Programs, I seek to create lasting change by advocating for policies that protect the rights and interests of farmworkers and facilitate their integration into society.My journey came from a marketing student to a compassionate community leader exemplifies the power of determination, resilience, and empathy. Her work continues to inspire others, providing hope to those who have faced hardship and reminding us all of the transformative impact one person can make.As I moved forward in my mission to make a difference, I remain committed to uplifting my community, offering support, and giving hope to those in need.
