Sanish is a social entrepreneur turned climate-investment & policy professional. He is part of Global Partnerships & Net Zero team at Invest India, where he focuses on leveraging multilateral organizations and plurilateral platforms for catalyzing investments in India’s clean economy sectors. He focuses on building sustainable partnerships with diverse stakeholders including MDBs, governments, investors, project proponents, climate tech start-ups etc.He drives the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework (IPEF)’s Clean Economy engagements at Invest India. He has been part of the official government delegations representing India at IPEF Clean Economy Investor Forum in June 2024 as well as UNFCCC's COP29.He has led the Human Development vertical at the AGNIi Mission: a programme of the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India. He focused on the intersections of impact and technology which could propel the human centred sectors like climate change as well as handicrafts and handloom. He was instrumental in driving partnerships with key government agencies in the Indian Himalayan Region. He has been a social entrepreneur prior to joining Invest India, where his enterprise 'Ayansh' focused on holistic rehabilitation of children in conflict with the law, using digital skills like graphic designing, video editing. He has completed his Masters in Social Innovation & Entrepreneurship from Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) with a gold medal and Bachelors of Mass Media (Advertising). His diverse experience and academic qualifications enable him to effectively leverage his skills to drive investments in India’s climate action.
