I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Psychological Science at Deakin University, with a keen passion for transitioning into the mental health field. Over the past two years, I have accumulated diverse experience in the insurance industry, starting as a Claims Officer for motor insurance with Suncorp. This role allowed me to develop strong analytical and problem-solving skills.My career then progressed to a leadership position at Origin Energy, where I honed my team management and strategic planning abilities. Currently, I serve as a Case Manager in the worker's compensation department at Allianz Insurance. In this role, I manage claims for injured workers, ensuring their entitlements and medical services are effectively facilitated.In addition to my professional experience, I am dedicated to giving back to the community. I volunteer as a Youth Mentor with Kids First and as a Visitor for the aged community with AMC Services. These roles have enriched my understanding of human behaviour and reinforced my commitment to supporting others.I am enthusiastic about leveraging my skills and experiences in psychology to make a meaningful impact in the mental health sector.
