Driven by a strong commitment to social justice and advocacy, I am focused on promoting the well-being of marginalized and underserved communities. Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work at Toronto Metropolitan University, I have developed a solid foundation in social work theory and practical application through various practicum placements, volunteer experiences, and my undergraduate education. These opportunities have allowed me to hone my skills in client assessment, case management, culturally adequate mental health programming, and youth facilitation. My experience includes working with diverse populations, particularly newcomers, youth, and individuals facing systemic barriers. I have applied trauma-informed approaches in both individual and group settings, addressing challenges such as mental health, settlement issues, and community integration. Through these experiences, I have strengthened my ability to deliver culturally responsive services and support individuals in overcoming personal and societal challenges.I am passionate about creating inclusive, empowering environments and look forward to continuing my work as an advocate for social change and mental health equity.
