Specific topics include; the social construction of child abuse, youth homelessness, and youth criminality as social problems, the stolen generations, children and the law, the fertility decline, and the differentiation of childhood experience along lines of class, gender, race, and ethnicityHSBH1013: In this unit, students will examine the main social determinants of health and the meaning of health for different populations. Students will also consider how health is delivered and by whom.
