I am a first year student at the Kelley School of Business, majoring in Marketing with co-majors in Information Systems and International Business. I have a passion for working with others and using my creativity to my advantage. I apply these skills in my previous jobs such as in my marketing roles in BuildingU and Invictus Prep by working on my social media skills and graphic design abilities with my coworkers who guide me along the way. At my other jobs with Tropical Smoothie Cafe and working as a gymnastics coach at Enrich Gymnastics and Dance, I displayed these traits by effectively communicating with others about needing help or working with them to solve other problems in a fast paced environment. I also had the flexibility to change up exercises to do in classes and come up with new ideas for smoothies. All of these jobs have improved my patience and time management skills along with the other skills mentioned.At Indiana University, I hope to nurture my existing skills as well as expand on others. I am in the Kelley living learning center, which helps broaden my professional development as well as network with the aspiring business leaders around me. As for student organizations and clubs, I have joined organizations such as PhotoFocus, a photography club, to focus on my creativity and my outside passions for art. I get a chance to build upon my photography skills as well as learn more about editing, additionally helping my marketing and social media skills. I have also joined Social Enterprise Engagement at Kelley, I attend meetings to learn more about social issues concerning the business world. This club gives me many opportunities to network with other organizations and work with them for projects to further their efforts in social causes. Looking forward into my future at Kelley and beyond, I hope to get more involved on campus by joining more business oriented clubs. As for the general future, I hope to apply my skills to a position that allows me to creatively work freely with a diverse group of people as well as progress with the ever changing society. I plan to deepen my skills in communication and creative thinking in order to achieve my goals for the future.
