Lecturing for Online MBA Program on Cybersecurity for Maritime Management

Presentation Addressing "SCADA/Cyber Diplomacy," on July 13, 2023, as part of our course on Cybersecurity Policy" in the Americas: Challenges for Policy Strategic Analysis (CYBER 2023), which took place from July 10 to July 21, 2023, at the Perry Centre in Washington, DC. Only presented the same lecture, along side a lecture on risk management for the same course offered in 2022.

Expedited work on a project on developing schemes for cybersecurity for critical information infrastructure sectors (focusing on power sector). Research and analysis on technical criteria and competency profile for the domain for developing quality cybersecurity infrastructure.

At CyberPeace Foundation I was working as a Research Analyst, Providing Research and Analysis on Cybersecurity and cybercrime incidents along with Advisory for government stakeholders. The following are my achievements. 1. Contributed to research material for the Cybersafety Manual for Schools for NCERT ( National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT)). 2. Worked on the conceptualisation and implementation of e-Raksha event. I was a part of committee and worked on tasks for eRaksha Award Function organised at UNESCO auditorium in New Delhi. 3. Preparing concept notes for various projects, such as Cybersafety for Women Programme in collaboration with National Commision for Women ( NCW ). 4. Initiated international collaborations such as the collaboration for being a part of the Coalition Against Stalkerware by Kaspersky and EFF. Also represented CyberPeace as a part of the Technical community at the Internet Governance Forum. 5. Initiated collaboration with Technology Against Crime NGO Africa and was instrumental to collaborating with other stakeholders like Africa Cyber Defence Forum. 6. Organised and Hosted the CyberPeace Dialogue 2020. 7. Conducted several research and wrote articles on cybersecurity events across the globe. Including diplomatic and war crimes.

• I provided assistance on Cyber-Foundation Project. This project is divided into sub-projects, I was in-charge of 4 out of 9 sub-projects that is taken up to develop INTERPOL’s cyber intelligence gathering and analytical capabilities.Before I left INTERPOL, the projects were deployed and being tested by the Cyber Fusion Centre at IGCI.• My team and I had to follow up on technicalities of the project and business development. Besides consulting the procurement team with regards to selection of potential suppliers, service providers based on their sent quotations, we were a link between the legal and technical team and the Cyber Fusion Centre. We helped facilitate collaboration on the IT project and ensure continuoussuccessful delivery.• Also, I analysed the structure and the procedures in the IT/IS Directorate and noted the gap. I provided a blueprint on theimplementation of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework, to bridge the existing gaps address the challenges.

• In the first three months of my Internship at INSS, I was involved in the study and analysis of the Israeli Cyber-Spark framework,the key organisations involved, selection process, and identification of firms with similar strategic interests. During these months, I was fortunate to be a part of the Munich Security Conference and internal discussions on issues of cybersecurity. I got the opportunity to meet the world leaders and know their concerns. Besides, I was also a part of the India-Israel Bilateral Meetings and in-charge of identifying the right institutions and companies and organise meeting between top-level executives at the institution and the the identified partner(from banking sector in India).• I also analysed the Fin-CERT structure in India and the names of stakeholders along with their heads, and facilitated a meeting between some of the stakeholders with an experts.• In the last three months of my internship, I was involved in providing research assistantship on research in the area of cyber regulation and bilateral agreements between Israel and other countries in the area of Cybersecurity.
