Lead 2 RPN reduction projects by improving detection using a vision system to reduce RPN from 254 to 96. • Assisted Quality Engineer in the PPAP process for the new line by creating dimensional report, working on MSAs for gages and performing capability analysis.• Initiated a 5S project in inspection station in the piston manufacturing line which helped reduce the cycle time from 38 seconds to 30 seconds by ensuring that the tools are properly available and labelled.• Developed standard work and control plan for the rework processes and ensured the pistons are introduced back into the line without any quality issues.
