ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:• Proficiency with Water based mud (Bentonite gel muds and Kcl-Polymer and PHPA/ NDDF muds and salt water brine) systems and Completion brines and Oil based mud in Exploratory and development wells.• Responsible for preparation & conditioning of Drilling Mud in accordance with well conditions and/or as advised by operator.• Responsible for testing and maintaining the drilling fluids parameters like viscosity (funnel and plastic), yield point, gel strength, filtrate, (W/L) cake thickness, chlorides & hardness, pH alkalinity and other parameters as desired for efficient drilling operation.• Proficiency in handling of Solids Control Equipment such as Shale shaker, De-sander, De-silter, Centrifuge.• Successfully handle well killing operation (kick control procedure) as advised by tool pusher, Drilling Engineer, Drilling Supervisor.• Having good exposure of various down hole complication such as caving, mud loss, stuck pipe, sloughing, heaving, swabbing, surging, drag, torque, kick etc.• Vertical and Directional well hole cleaning techniques.• Handling of vacuum degasser in case of gas coming from well bore to conditioning and circulate out the gas. • Maintain a complete, accurate and informative Daily Drilling Fluid Report in accordance with client requirement and procedure.• Active involvement in casing and cementing operation.• Proficiency in calculation of mud tank volumes, hole volume, Kill mud calculation, cementing calculations, well completion fluid calculations etc. • Ensure proper inventory of testing equipment and chemicals used in testing and also checked that all drilling fluid test equipment is well maintained and regularly calibrated according to API standard.• Responsible for the safe handling, loading unloading and stacking of chemicals at the well site to ensure and avoid damage to the chemicals bag.

Balling, High Temperature & High Pressure Well, Gas & Oil Kicks.Preparation & Conditioning Of Drilling Mud & Related Fluids In Accordance With Well Plan And Or As Advised By Drilling Engineer.Treatment For Prevent Contamination & Restore Properties after Contamination.
