Safety Manager
CurrentTo develop and implement Health and Safety’s best practice in one of the largest Airport Building, ensuring the Safety of the passengers and that of other Stakeholders are as per current health and safety legislation, approved codes of practice and guidance in relation to employment and service provision.Responsibilities: • Planning, organizing, arranging and conducting Safety Meeting of the stakeholders• Identify best practices and lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce work process risks, raise safety awareness, and improve safe work practices • Facilitate a work environment that supports a safe and healthy work culture • Conduct and coordinate staff training in areas such as safety laws and regulations, hazardous condition monitoring, and use of safety equipment • Monitor emergency and evacuation procedures of the Airport Buildings.• Perform safety audits and inspect facilities, machinery, and safety equipment to identify and correct potential hazards, and to ensure safety regulation compliance • Investigate accidents, near-miss incidents, and occupational injuries to determine causes, install preventive measures, and manage return-to-work activities • Provide advice, coaching, guidance, and mentoring to employees on safety initiatives• To support Management in the development and implementation of effective Business Continuity plans to minimise disruption to critical functions.• To monitor, evaluate and review the Company’s Business Continuity plans as per ISO 22301:2012.• Order and maintain facility safety inventory including supplies and equipment • To ensure the Company’s Safety Policy is consistently upgraded and implemented across the organisation.• Carrying out OH&S Internal Audit as per the OHSAS 18001:2007 Guidelines.• Implementing Road Safety Standards as per ISO 39001:2012 to raise the road safety standards of access roads to IGI Airport . Enhancing CBRN Preparedness and handling capabilities at the Airport
