To develop and implement Health and Safety’s best practice in one of the largest Airport Building, ensuring the Safety of the passengers and that of other Stakeholders are as per current health and safety legislation, approved codes of practice and guidance in relation to employment and service provision.Responsibilities: • Planning, organizing, arranging and conducting Safety Meeting of the stakeholders• Identify best practices and lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce work process risks, raise safety awareness, and improve safe work practices • Facilitate a work environment that supports a safe and healthy work culture • Conduct and coordinate staff training in areas such as safety laws and regulations, hazardous condition monitoring, and use of safety equipment • Monitor emergency and evacuation procedures of the Airport Buildings.• Perform safety audits and inspect facilities, machinery, and safety equipment to identify and correct potential hazards, and to ensure safety regulation compliance • Investigate accidents, near-miss incidents, and occupational injuries to determine causes, install preventive measures, and manage return-to-work activities • Provide advice, coaching, guidance, and mentoring to employees on safety initiatives• To support Management in the development and implementation of effective Business Continuity plans to minimise disruption to critical functions.• To monitor, evaluate and review the Company’s Business Continuity plans as per ISO 22301:2012.• Order and maintain facility safety inventory including supplies and equipment • To ensure the Company’s Safety Policy is consistently upgraded and implemented across the organisation.• Carrying out OH&S Internal Audit as per the OHSAS 18001:2007 Guidelines.• Implementing Road Safety Standards as per ISO 39001:2012 to raise the road safety standards of access roads to IGI Airport . The rationale of establishment of City Side (Landside) Department in DIAL is to provide Supervisory Cover in monitoring and enhancing the WOW factor to various stakeholders of the Airport, which includes monitoring and controlling all the Landside activities ranging from monitoring Traffic at the Airport to maintenance of the facilities at the Landside to General Aesthetics of the Landside area.Responsibilities: • Ensuring administration, facilities, maintenance and upkeep of the landside area as part of Airport Management. • Supervise works at the landside with the objective of ensuring safety, security and minimizing inconvenience to airport users.• Be part of all retail related and other service related contracts at the landside also to include monitoring of the existing service level agreements with the vendor agencies.• Design and Monitor a streamlined traffic plan in conjunction with the police and other external agencies requiring extensive liaising with all regulatory agencies employed at the Airport.• Identify the Landside improvements or options to optimise the Economic Aspects of the Airport while enhancing Safety and Operational Capability.• Establish an Implementation-phasing scheduling for short, intermediate and long range improvement.• Identify short term actions and recommendations do not preclude long range planning activities.• Upkeep and Maintenance of the Land-Side facilities.• Following-up on the Stake-Holders’ complaints relating to Land-Side Services.

Engineers/Mechanics, Electricians, Drivers and all other staff about their PERFORMANCE REPORTS.

My Duties are as follows:• Dealing with Contractors, Architects & Interior Designers relating to complete Facilities (sites) & infrastructure set up, in coordination with the Project Department.• Setting up and Coordinating transport, security, cafeteria, housekeeping & janitorial, fire fighting, horticulture services in the organisation.• Establishing & implementing systems and processes, including energy conservation and cost rationalization.• Look after the Security arrangement of the Hotel from the Scratch and lay out the Security Guidelines for the proper functioning of the Hotel.• Coordinating and negotiating with vendors/Agencies for AMC’s. • Ensuring effective liaising with Govt. and regulatory bodies like Customs, Excise, BSNL, Electricity Boards and local government agencies for obtaining necessary sanctions/approvals. • Planned Preventive maintenance of all Critical equipment like Generators, UPS and Chillers.• To carry out other such functions, the need for which might arise for proper day-to-day functioning of the office or as required by the senior management.

DUTIES: As an ATC Professional, I acted as a Shift-in-Charge for about 25-30 people working under me and was responsible for the smooth operation of the Flying activities by ensuring that the aircraft is provided with all the facilities related to operations, coordination, reception, etc. that may be required for its safe flight and attend to its emergency, should it be required.
