Whether it’s offering training for new starters or giving established users a new insight into systems they've been using for years the training needs to be flexible to suit all levels and targeted to be relevant to a diverse range of roles.The role also offers first line support that covers a wide range of accountabilities, from helping people obtain the result they want from the supported packages to troubleshooting and issue resolution, acting as a buffer between the user group and the IT Support function, whilst also identifying areas for system improvement and training needs.The supported packages are a range of business intelligence tools (including Microstrategy, Business Objects and Infoview) reporting on sales and stock movements within the organisation.Although not part of the original role remit, my strong background in MS Office training has resulted in the role expanding to encompass MS Office training, offering courses and advice on MS Office packages across several versions.
