Capital Step is a provider of financial solutions to SME customers in the UK and Ireland lending up to £10m through a combination of senior debt, royalty finance and equity as appropriate. Company was a start up having been formed in 2016 and completed 7 transactions with a total portfolio value of c£17m. Capital Step was acquired in Feb 2019 by Duke Royalty.As Director of Credit Underwriting and Portfolio Management, I evaluated new transactional opportunities, co-ordinated due diligence, prepared papers for and presented to Investment Committee and executed transactions to completion.Responsible for asset managing portfolio of assets with key achievements including establishing relationships with senior management, working with them to improve the quality and content of financial information provided to stakeholders, developing new internal reporting systems including monthly portfolio performance analysis and regular investment reviews.
