Just like in any creative process, when we are working towards our own business we have to face our selves. When a person creates something, no matter what — a poem, a piece of art, literally anything, he or she has to look insides oneself and face whatever feelings, emotions, and fears there are.I have been always obsessed with self-development and personal growth and thought that I was rather successful in it. I have accepted myself and learned to love myself the way I am, let go of judgment and face my fears and so on and so forth. My friends confirmed that I always look at the bright side of the things, being creative and helpful. And I was feeling happy about myself and the progress I’ve made.The desire to work for myself always did exist deep inside me, popping out from time to time and ending up in endless projects, that have been started and dropped within a couple of weeks. Most of them were not even serious and I have ignored the warning sign of inconsistency. Just so that you know — I believe that consistency is one of the 3 major pillars of success.I have never thought that I could have been paralyzed by the fear of… bright colours. Okay, not literally, but I was stuck on that stage for a few days. A juicy intense colour meant somebody will actually notice, somebody will actually pay attention! It is like being in the spotlight! Uncovering this analogy, I started thinking about my life — I have always worn neutral colours, prefered clear simple lines in everything and so on.The ability to overcome all the negative thoughts and emotions is what makes them successful, of course, but I am sure that there is a number of aspiring entrepreneurs and business owners who are shocked, scared and confused and need to know that it is okay and they can make it through.
