August 2012 till dateMajor accomplishments/Highlights:• Established an understanding with Kahramaa for supplying 750V D.C.Power to Traction substations from its A.C. network for being the first rail project of Qatar.• Worked with contractor in providing solution to client for lowering and raising of Pantograph .The recommended option were later implemented in the Rolling Stock.• Identified noncompliance to contract specification requirements of various equipment related to railway electrification through Non Conformity reports .The equipment were later rejected and replaced with equipment complying with project requirements• Coordinated with Architects and Overhead Catenary team of contractor in reducing OCS (Overhead Catenary System) length to match with architecture of tram stop without compromising on tram performance and charging. • Conducted value engineering of feeding power supply to a tunnel and provided technical solution for feeding the tunnel from existing traction network without need of building two distribution substations to comply with NFPA 130 requirements.• Reviewed contractor’s claims pertaining to various change requests and provided technical report to commercial/contractual team resulting in major savings for the project. Roles and responsibilities of the position include following:Review Rail electrification interface documents submitted by the PMS Contractor;Ensure and verify that the interfaces between each of the electrification systems and sub-systems meet the employer’s requirements;Review Contractor’s documentation related to electrification’ interfaces and provide comments/recommendations;Review Electrification system related documentations and submittals and provide recommendations to the Client;Review and approve design and specifications as it is related to Electrification design and interfaces;

Major achievements/Highlights:• Approval of 22 kV and Low voltage network design from local power supply company M/s. ADDC(Abu Dhabi Distribution Company)• Approval of Electricity Master planning reports for Khalify City A and Tarif Industrial Area from ADDC & ADM(Abu Dhabi Municipality)• Development of a bespoke luminaire for bridge lighting in coordination with luminaire manufacturer and contractor.Roles and responsibilities of the positions include following:• Design of lighting and electrical Low and medium voltage distribution electrification for outdoor street lighting, bridge lighting and landscape lighting.• Coordination with the Architects, Structural, Road and Mechanical Engineers, etc. • Preparation of load schedules, voltage drop calculations, power factor calculations, and concept design.• Preparation of schematic wiring diagram for lighting and Low voltage electrifications.• Attending coordination meetings with the Contractors and Local Authorities.• Reply to site RFI relating to design issues.• Ensure that the design is carried out with respect to the relevant standards and quality procedures.• Obtain approvals from Local Authorities such as Abu Dhabi Municipality (ADM) and Abu Dhabi Distribution Company (ADDC).• Design interface on various disciplines for proof checking and coordination on a particular design scope of works• Design approval from consultants, client and authorities such as ADM and ADDC

Marwar Hotels Group in Jodhpur, introduction of horizontal mounting CFL down lighter in the 18W and 26W category in Bajaj brand ,supply of down lighters(2000 plus nos.)and outdoor luminaries for façade and area lighting.* Approval of the newly launched commercial luminaries in Bank of India for its project of renovation of branches and taking the order for 9 branches in Gujarat against tough competition from Philips and Wipro by virtue of design and demonstration of product.
