About Sanjay Kumar
I am a PhD researcher at Dublin City University (DCU) and part of the SFI Centre for Research Training in Digitally-Enhanced Reality (D-REAL). My research is focused on computational argumentation on online deliberation platforms under Prof. Jane Suiter and Dr. Luca Longo (TU Dublin).I hold a Master of Science degree in Data Analytics from Dublin Business School and have prior experience as a junior web developer and data science intern. While at ZIV Aplicaciones y Tecnología, I acquired web development skills in PHP, JavaScript, and HTML and automated manual work processes. I also designed an in-house website and administered database management using MySQL. My stint at Orcawise involved implementing a data cleansing and preparation module, improving entity extraction and training topic modelling techniques using Python and its libraries. This led to a significant increase in sales leads.My interests and expertise lie in data science, natural language processing (NLP), information extraction and retrieval, and web development. I possess solid numerical, interpretative, analytical, and diagnostic abilities and can work well independently or as part of a team. I aim to leverage my knowledge and skills to impact the world positively.
