Network TDA for Major Banking ClientSupporting the Data Centre Consolidation study for the Western Europe Global Infrastructure & Service Delivery group for a Major Banking Client. My role involved conducting a full scale assessment of the network infrastructure for several counties in Western Europe and the European Wide Area Network to propose how to standardise the local and global infrastructure to improve availability and reduce operational costs. The feasability study assessed the impact of consolidating the banks multiple Western European Data into a pair of Centrally hosted datacentres providing services across Europe.Technical Architect for the Ministry of Justice:• Responsible for producing high level and low level designs for infrastructure solutions consisting of Unix and Wintel servers, networks and storage. • Producing and assessing capital and ongoing charges of all design options.• Gaining approval of the preferred design and supporting implementation via the service lines.

Senior Communications Consultant with experience in designing and implementing bespoke network designs for a range of customers. Project Manager for a wide variety of technology deployments across Europe. Specialist in wireless communication technologies, involved in the design and rollout of large-scale wireless networks in various industry sectors.

• Managed the Wireless LAN vendor selection process, from tender issue to lab testing and appointment. • Produced the Detailed Design, Configuration and Testing & Commissioning documentation for the secure, shared Wireless LAN infrastructure providing ubiquitous coverage across Terminal 5.• Identified and validated the integration requirements for all of the airports operational systems.• Produced MPLS VPN design strategies to enable all airport systems to utilise the common network.• Worked with 3rd party tenants to produce be-spoke network designs to utilise the common infrastructure.• Managed the production phase of the rollout of network services to retail concessionaires.
