It is a four year structured Ph.D. on the topic "Holographic optical elements for LED's applications".The work includes fabrication of shorter focal length holographic lenses in photopolymer material to collimate LEDs light. A 5 cm focal length holographic lens to collimate green LEDs has been successfully fabricated and demonstrated. A paper has been also published in Applied Optics (OSA) based on the above work. Future work include fabrication of holographic lens to collimate white LEDs.
