Manufacturing Engineer
CurrentDevelopment, configuration, and optimization of the manufacturing processes•Developing detailed drawings and schematics including Mechanical and Pneumatics•Installation of machine base and structures as per layout design•Machine profile building and installation•Module sub assembly preparation of automation machines and integration in Main assembly•Assembly machine parts using various techniques like Torque tightening, Dispensing, Welding etc - Machine base, Profile enclosure, Sub Assembly integration, Pneumatic cylinder installation and pneumatic connections as per circuit•Testing of individual stations with customer component•Fine-tuning machine to meet OEE•Conducting trials builds and validation of Cosmetic, Dimension , Reliability and Cycle time•Discussion with customer to implement customer improvements•DVT, EVT,PVT, CRB Trial run builds and report validation•Prepare & Providing process documentation and operating instructions (WI, ERS)•Create & maintain DFM and machine supporting documents (PQ)•Supporting for NPD activities and prepare the PFD, PFMEA, Control Plan, APQP, PPAP documents•Supporting for New machine installation, Commissioning, trail & Validation with supplier•Tooling, Jigs and fixture development through vendor•Monitoring repeated downtime and providing the solution on time•Support for Layout, Capacity, Manpower Planning & BOM preparation•Coordination with CFT for MCR, ECN approval•Good exposure to IE and ME concepts like Cycle Time, TAKT time, Cycle time reduction of bottleneck machines•Responsible for Cosmetic & Dimensional Yield•Process Qualification – Laser, manual, Dispensing, SPM Stages•Expertise in root cause analysis and problem simulation to avoid recurrence issues•Customer complaints handling through 8D, PDCA, other QC tools•Closely monitoring of new product development to avoid launch issues•Process qualification of Laser & Dispensing machines
