 Control safe start-up, normal and shutdown operations by DCS as per established procedures / operating manuals and good industry practices in refinery DCU unit. Monitors and co-ordinates the designated operation from Control Panel, ensuring safe and efficient operations. Includes maintaining continuous contact with various areas of the entire Plant to keep them informed of overall operating conditions. Identify any problems, potential or ongoing and seeks remedies as applicable Monitor the running equipments and troubleshoots process abnormalities, deviations’ from normal running and raise maintenance notification through SAP system to attend defects.

(1) Communication with supervisor for production target achievement and other major activities and makes minor plant adjustments when necessary and reports any serious faults to the Supervisor with appropriate remedial actions, implements immediately the approved actions, procedures and standard emergency responses.(2) Maintain Operation briefcase, daily activities through FSR ,SAP system(3) Follow ownership guidelines of Gathering station and operate in smooth manner(3) Prepares plant-operating reports as requested by Production Supervisor or Team Leader. Well versed with SAP system used for maintenance requesting and trouble Shooting of equipments.(4) Monitors all plants and gas wellhead towers conditions such as flow rates, Pressures, temperatures, levels, etc, through displays, graphics and trend logs. Well aware of the SCADA/DCS system used in acquiring the well head data and used in controlling well head systems namely GBC( Gas Break Through Control). 5.) Adheres to Company's HSE policy, standards and approved operating procedures While performing the duties / tasks. Also aware of the companies Code of Practices And Specifications.

The APC controller takes care of product specifications, plant load and process disturbances By playing a balancing act this APC controller fixes the operating point in the optimum operating region of the plant created by combination of the three parameters viz. product quality, quantity and Process disturbances. I have handled large furnaces, reactors, boilers, steam / gas turbine, compressor and large pumps. I am well conversant with SAFE WORK PERMIT system followed by our company for routine / NON routine maintenance work, which is indispensable part of safe petrochemical plant operations
