I’m currently responsible for Project managing the IT infrastructure build of new/expansion facilities. In this role, I am required to deliver the projects assigned within the agreed framework, timelines, cost & ensure the quality of work. I’m also required to assist my team members in their projects. So far, I have been involved in enabling 35000+ seats across 6 facilities in India & currently working on few more. My duties in current role includes:• Business requirement gathering.• Work on the capital requirement & get necessary approvals.• Project planning by working with all stake holders in designing, finalizing part-list & prepare execution plan.• Initiate procurement as per the part-list. Coordinate with the vendors & ensure the materials are delivered on time. • Work on the actual site implementation of IT infrastructure like cabling, device installation & transition.• Ensure necessary audits are completed as per requirements.• Share periodic updates on status of the project to relevant stake holders.

In this role, I was responsible for leading the location network teams of 3 facilities, which had the user base of 18000+ seats. My teams were involved in supporting & administration of location network infrastructure. Was supporting more than 300 projects across these facilities.• My regular work included manage Incidents & Changes in the network infrastructure.• Manage escalation pertaining to network Infrastructure. • Maintain the SLA & to share regular reports to management. • Get involved in Problem & Release management when needed.• I was taking care of cross location activities/deployments. • I was involved in many discussions pertaining to network infrastructure in India. • Handle all the audits pertaining to network infrastructure.• Vendor Management.

Started my networking career as a LAN/WAN Analyst where I was performing support & administration of Network devices in the location. Later I was promoted as a Senior LAN/WAN Analyst & I worked independently under minimal supervision. During my role as a Senior LAN/WAN analyst:• I used to assist my team members & other locations teams in troubleshooting, planning & implementation.• I worked on most of the escalated or unsolved/pending issues to bring them to a logical closure. • I was assisting my team lead in handling the daily operations & escalations. Firewall. • I was responsible for implementing and maintaining policies on Netscreen & Cisco PIX/ASA Firewall along with the switching environment. • Configuring the Nortel Contivity VPN switches for the IPSEC Site to Site and Client to Site VPN. • Implementing GRE Tunnels for remote client connectivity on Cisco Routers.• Bandwidth allocation and traffic monitoring through Packet shapers.During my various roles in network domain:• I have exposure to handle multi-vendor technologies network consisting of Cisco (Routers, Switches & Firewalls), Juniper (Firewalls & Switches), Bluecoat Packet shapers, and Nortel VPN box. • Well versed in configuring & managing of Cisco Switches/Routers, Netscreen & Cisco PIX/ASA • I am exposed to ITIL framework. Was involved in Incident, Change, Problem and Release management. • Working under WEB enabled tools by providing support to customers on severity basic.

My position was of a Senior System Analyst performing support/administrative duties in an environment consisting of Windows 2000 / XP machines & I was also responsible for handling the escalated calls & provide support to other engineers in my team. I was involved in implementation of BS7799 security standard over entire location & SAS 70 for BPO Projects. I was part of the team involved in implementing desktop security standards & was handling one of the biggest IDC project in the location. Good knowledge of all the processes present in the organization. Documentation of the resolved problems, as it’s necessary to provide timely solutions.

My position in Wipro Technologies was that of Systems Support Engineer performing support/administrative duties in heterogeneous systems environment consisting of Windows 2000/NT/9x machines. I was also responsible for handling a team of 4 & testing the network and host security of internal networks. Support included for both Hardware and Software platforms. Installing & troubleshooting of Microsoft Windows 2000 family & Windows XP operating system. Installing & troubleshooting of Microsoft Office 2000 & Mail Client Problems. Exposed to multi-vendor hardware machines & troubleshooting e.g. (Wipro, HP, Dell, Compaq, Acer). I was handling the day to day troubleshooting of system issues of 500 users.

I was responsible in taking Backup of Windows NT & Windows 2000 Servers using ASO Backup Tool & performing restoration operations on Users Request. I was also handling day to day troubleshooting of system problems of 100 Clients.
