About Sanjeev Sharma

I came from a council estate in an area of Telford that wasn't great. No one in my family was in the legal field and no one in my family had been to university. For me to get a training contract I travelled from Telford to Birmingham for free for nearly 12 months, working part time as a security driver to pay for the petrol just so I could get some work experience at J M Wilson Solicitors. Eventually Mr Wilson offered me a paid role and then soon after a training contract. I qualified in April 2004 and became a Partner later that year. I am now the Senior and Managing Director of the same place I did work experience at. It was down to my commitment and hard work that I got to where I am. Hard work and commitment are key no matter what industry you are in or want to go in. No one is going to give you something for nothing. You must show your worth and not expect it to be seen.
