Studied Hotel Management from I.H.M Srinagar - Kashmir in the year 1989. Was selected by ASHOK group of hotels as a Management Trainee. Spent my Management training period by working in all operational and back office departments in various ASHOK GROUP of Hotels namely ASHOK HOTEL( 550 ROOMS ) ,HOTEL KANISHKA ( 350 ROOMS ) , HOTEL SAMRAT ( 220 ROOMS ) & HOTEL JANPATH ( 250 ROOMS ) . Proud to have served 04-Four Prime Ministers of India at Hyderabad House New Delhi - Sh. Rajiv Gandhi, Sh. Chandra shekhar ,Sh. V.P Singh and Sh.P.V Narshima rao.Also Sh. I.K Gujral, Sh.SD Sharma and Sh. Abdul Kalam.Started with Airport Ashok Kolkatta as an Assistant Manager Operations . Worked in various Hotels located in different cities like Bodhgaya Ashok , Agra Ashok and in 2001 was promoted to the position of General Manager of Hotel Jammu Ashok . Resigned from ASHOK GROUP of Hotels and took VRS in the year 2002.Took over Club Mahindra @ AVALON RESORTS MUSSOORIE as the General Manager Operations. Worked there for almost 6 years and moved on to join KAMAT HOTELS MUMBAI as the GM - Pre-opening at VITS HOTEL AURANGABAD in 2007 .Was involved in the pre-opening and later on started the operations of the 100 room hotel. In the year 2009 joined ITC FORTUNE HOTELS as the GM of the 90 room FORTUNE METROPOLITAN JAIPUR. In 2011 Got a new oppportunity so as to join a 182 room hotel in Jaipur , the new Upper Upscale RADISSON BLU JAIPUR. Did the pre-opening and started the operations of the hotel in 2012. Worked with the hotel till March 2014 and was transfered to the 116 ROOM, Radisson Blu Ranchi - first five star hotel of JHARKHAND STATE. Presently am Heading the Operations & Development of the Gurnani Group ( owners of Radisson Blu Jaipur & Days Hotel by Wyndham Jaipur ) . Currently the group is developing three new upper upscale & Luxury Hotels/resorts in Jaipur. A 206 room Hilton Hotel Jaipur, a 421 room Grand Hyatt Jaipur are under development. The group has signed a new RITZ CARLTON JAIPUR . This will be a 250 room Luxury Resort located in Achrol. Highlights : 30 years of working in Hospitality operations have given me excellent interpersonal , management , operational efficiency , team building , leadership and project management experience.
