As the President - Digitalization at India Power Corporation Limited (IPCL), I am responsible for leading the digital transformation efforts of the group, converting the grid to smart grid, and creating new business units. With about 33 years of experience in multi-industry domains in India and USA, I have a strong background in core engineering, management, supply chain, IT infrastructure, and quality. I am also a Certified Independent Director by the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs.My mission is to explore newer avenues and implement disruptive technologies like IoT, BI, and analytics to enhance the efficiency, reliability, and sustainability of the power sector. I am honored to receive multiple awards and recognitions for my initiatives, such as the Top 100 Eminent CIO of India for five consecutive years, the Man of Excellence Award for 2022, and the Digital CIO Crown Award for 2022. I am also grateful to serve as a council member of the CIO Klub, a committee member of the IT Committee of the BCCI, a jury member of the ET Energy Awards 2023, a panel member of the Climate Control Awards Dubai 2022 & 2023 and member of Board of Studies of Adamas University.
