Researched the effect of probiotic treatment during pubertal maturation on acute immune responses in male and female CD1-mice and the long-term consequences into adulthood, such as anxiety- and depression-like behaviour. Advanced our understanding of the role of probiotics acting as novel therapeutics to prevent stress-induced mental health outcomes. Worked and handled mice with safety, performed IP injections, observed behaviour, provided daily probiotic treatment, and looked at cytokine responses (multiplex).

Present menus to patrons and answer questions about menu items making recommendations upon requests in a 250+ seat restaurant. Assisted host or hostess by answering phones to rake reservations or to-go orders and by greeting, seating and thanking guests. Served food and beverages to patrons, presented samples of wine and opened wine bottles upon approval.
