Aligned to Marketing Services, I served as the go-to communication person for the India Markets Research team. My primary responsibility was to keep track of the overall layout of magazines—feature articles and appearance of the publications, generating ideas for features with staff and presenting a detailed edit list to clients. I was also responsible to commission freelance writers for articles, managing the outcome of articles as per clients’ requirements, editing them and so on. Further, I was engaged in content syndication with various agencies like the New York Times, The Guardian, etc., apart from drafting e-mailers and marketing collateral with layout conceptualization, as required.
