Our political stability has given way to major reforms across sectors, leading to hectic economic activity across India. India is among very few fast-growing economies globally affected by recession, conflicts, political instability. An investor cannot afford to ignore this opportunity. Dozens of new economy sectors are opening up where India enjoys a clear advantage given our huge intellectual and young middle class market which form 32% of 1.5 Billion population. One of the top focused sectors where massive investments are being made to transform our logistics and supply chain sector. The Indian Government is bullish on this sector to effectively leverage our locational and strategic advantage in International Trade. India believes in a robust supply chain ecosystem to sustain growth of trade and economy. Logistic and Supply Chain contribute about 15 percent to the DGP. This sector shows a CAGR growth of 12 percent year or year to the current market size of US$.4Billion that is expected to touch US$.8Billion as per the Government conservative estimate. The scope is huge that I would to share with the stakeholders. Myself, having worked for four decades with importers, exporters, shippers, airlines, transport fleets, and warehousing Industry, is eager to share my experience and knowledge. Further to Supply Chain Management, I have considerable experience to advise the Business on leveraging Government Policies, Regulations to mitigate regulatory risks to avoid litigation and disputes causing wasteful expenditure and higher operating, transaction costs affecting margins. I can manage Government Relations for additional fiscal support, inventives, waivers, exemptions from regulatory system. I have good working knowledge of India's Foreign Trade Policy, Customs Laws, Shipping Laws, Compliance, Banking, FEMA. I have representated Indian Industry at Central Government Ministries, Departments, Councils for enabling Ease of Doing Business. India's share of International Trade is less than two per cent that is expected to grow rapidly. Probably, we are meeting at the right time now !.
