About Sanjeev Vasu
Hi, I am Sanjeev Vasu. Marketer by the day and a percussionist by the night. Ever since my childhood, I marketed ideas that yielded 10X value. It started with a simple initiative where I applied a social marketing strategy with my friends to collect and recycle scrap to buy books and stationery for underprivileged kids in the locality. With the growing popularity of the exercise, local businesses also began to contribute to this cause. However, I began discovering the true power of marketing and partnerships when I was the convenor and the student president of “AAVISHKAR”, A national level consortium that brings together Electronics and Instrumentation Engineers across India. I along with a team of 15 members (both faculty and students) were able to generate funds and also establish greater reach across India through digital means. I later started leading partnerships with various student chapters such as IEEE, ISOI & , Penumbra being the chapter president at my college moderating various workshops and other value added sessions. After graduating, I took up Business development with e-Helium, a HCM startup where we facilitated programs alongside leading brands like Pearsons, CAER, IEEE Computer society, Retailers Association of India and so on. Post that, I went on to join a product based startup - HappyFox, where I helped set up the inbound sales process from scratch.Later, Galvanize Test Prep (GTP) happened to me. At 24, I took up partnerships in addition to marketing responsibilities that helped the team generate the first 100,000 app downloads in less than 2 months. With multiple strategies both digital and on field we, as a team were able to generate over 30X leads as compared to the past. Since then, I have been a part of various high performance startups besides graduating MBA and a Strategic Marketing Program at Middlesex University London. I have also been researching and executing growth hacks at a minimal budget for startups. I am currently associated with CodeForce360 where we champion contingent staffing.
