An accomplished scientist and leader with more than 25 years of experience in academics and the pharmaceutical industry (India & USA). Delivered 2 clinical candidates and multiple back up molecules in diverse therapeutic areas. Worked on total synthesis of natural products with high structural complexities. Developed several novel methodologies to enrich the synthetic organic chemist’s tool box. The work carried out thus far resulted in 21 research articles in peer reviewed scientific journals and 15 patents. Demonstrated leadership skills, creativity and ability to integrate the knowledge of drug design, disease area biology, pharmacokinetics and toxicology to expeditiously move the projects forward.
