Developed deep expertise in renovation and restoration in addition to new constructions. As a qualified and licensed central and state government contractor, I undertook a variety of projects for core government entities over the last 4+ years. My customers included:- National Academy of Customs, Indirect Tax and Narcotics- Kolkata Police- Kolkata Municipal CorporationThe work included major exterior and interior repair and renovation of residential and office buildings, new building development, damp proofing and prevention, interior and exterior paint work. I hired and managed my own crew of ~20 skilled workers. As a licensed building surveyor, I survey land parcels, create and certify floor plans for private builders.As an entrepreneur, I managed my own financial planning, accounting, billing, taxation, and customer relationships.

Dankuni State Highway (~6 months): Led the execution of this project from inception to completion. Performed several duties that included site measurement, manpower management, billing, updating of necessary drawings, design of sidewalls for soil erosion prevention, inventory management and estimation.Kalyani University - 4 New Buildings and Auditorium Construction (~2.5 years):Led the Rs. 26.67 crore (~4.14M USD) Central Government project to delivery. In addition to all project and engineering leadership duties, I was responsible for managing the vendors and contractors, project deliverables and timeline, customer relationship, change requests, reviewing and correcting all structural and architectural plans. Coordinated with specialized providers on the design and development of auditorium acoustics, light and sound, wooden stage and screen backdrop.Rabindra Bharati University - 1 new building construction (~6 months):Led the development of Ramanujam Hall - the new central administrative building for the university.Extension to the New Delhi National Museum (~3 months):Oversaw the construction of a new 10,000 sq ft museum building. Ensured adherence to drawing specifications.

Was a site supervisor for high-rise commercial buildings (hotels and resorts) on ongoing projects. Consulted as a subject matter expert on drawings of architectural floor plans and structural plans.
