Responsible for re-building the engineering team, delivering two product (Epit Exchange Server) releases, customizing and deploying the product (an auction exchange) at a client site and implementing rigorous processes across the entire development/deployment cycle. Managed a team of 28, consisting of development, QA, engineering services, internal tech support and client services teams. The Epit Exchange Server is a java/CORBA/JMS-based application that provides exchange infrastructure to the Capital Markets, customizable to any market style or trading rules. Supported Sales and Partner efforts, established key technical partnerships and represented the engineering priorities, strategies and direction to the executive team and the Board.

Responsible for product development, deployment, QA, technical ops and internal end-user technical support; Built the engineering organization from three to thirty five people over the course of fifteen months; infused critical development processes at various stages while delivering on four major releases of the employee work/life portal on Java/Weblogic/Oracle platform; Key technologies included building a channel-based framework for integrating content and commerce to create an employee portal and dynamic user-profiling for one-to-one targeting and personalization; Established technical liaisons with business partners, consultants, and clients, and interfaced with sales/marketing and executive team on technology strategies and issues.
