During my internship at UltraTech Cement, I had the opportunity to contribute to the Market Analysis project, focusing on primary and secondary sales of the company's products. Leveraging my skills in Excel, SQL, and Power BI, I played a pivotal role in transforming raw data into actionable insights.My responsibilities included:Data Collection and Preparation: I collected and aggregated data from various sources, including internal databases and external market research reports. I used SQL to query and extract relevant data sets, ensuring data integrity and consistency.Data Analysis and Visualization: Using Excel, I performed in-depth analysis of primary and secondary sales data, identifying key trends, patterns, and performance indicators. I then translated these insights into interactive dashboards using Power BI, providing stakeholders with intuitive visualizations for informed decision-making.Dashboard Development: Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, I designed and developed dynamic dashboards that provided a comprehensive view of market trends, competitor analysis, and sales performance metrics. These dashboards served as valuable tools for monitoring market dynamics and optimizing sales strategies.Insights Generation: By analyzing sales data and market trends, I generated actionable insights to support strategic decision-making processes. I provided recommendations for improving sales performance, identifying growth opportunities, and optimizing resource allocation.Documentation and Reporting: I documented my analysis methodologies, findings, and recommendations in clear and concise reports. These reports were shared with key stakeholders to facilitate data-driven decision-making at both tactical and strategic levels.
