Currentï‚§ Develop and implement safe switching and maintenance instructions and checklists for electrical equipment, including substations, power transformers, motors, MCC, circuit breakers, ATS, power factor improvement systems, PDBs, and DGs, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.ï‚§ Plan and oversee preventive maintenance strategies for all electrical assets, utilizing historical maintenance data to prioritize actions and enhance equipment reliability and performance.ï‚§ Manage spare parts inventory, monitor expenses, and ensure procurement aligns with departmental budgets, while leading major shutdowns and maintenance projects to ensure timely and efficient execution.ï‚§ Review and verify the Bill of Materials for accuracy, consult with the operations team for maintenance and upgrade plans involving power outages, and ensure safe restoration of power post-maintenance.ï‚§ Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure the purchase of spare parts meets specifications, conduct technical evaluations, and oversee the quality of maintenance and repair work.ï‚§ Perform critical testing, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis on a range of electrical systems and equipment, including high-voltage substations, underground cable networks, switchgear, power transformers, VFDs, UPS systems, and associated protection and relaying systems, implementing effective solutions for permanent issue resolution.
