 Develop and implement safe switching and maintenance instructions and checklists for electrical equipment, including substations, power transformers, motors, MCC, circuit breakers, ATS, power factor improvement systems, PDBs, and DGs, ensuring compliance with relevant standards. Plan and oversee preventive maintenance strategies for all electrical assets, utilizing historical maintenance data to prioritize actions and enhance equipment reliability and performance. Manage spare parts inventory, monitor expenses, and ensure procurement aligns with departmental budgets, while leading major shutdowns and maintenance projects to ensure timely and efficient execution. Review and verify the Bill of Materials for accuracy, consult with the operations team for maintenance and upgrade plans involving power outages, and ensure safe restoration of power post-maintenance. Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure the purchase of spare parts meets specifications, conduct technical evaluations, and oversee the quality of maintenance and repair work. Perform critical testing, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis on a range of electrical systems and equipment, including high-voltage substations, underground cable networks, switchgear, power transformers, VFDs, UPS systems, and associated protection and relaying systems, implementing effective solutions for permanent issue resolution.

 Conducted periodical and breakdown maintenance for transformers up to 1600 KVA, including 800A VCB on the primary side and 2500A ACB on the secondary side, and for generators up to 750 KVA with AMF and synchronization panels.  Performed periodical and breakdown maintenance for motors, switchgear, automatic fire alarm systems, and fire hydrant systems.  Oversaw the operation and maintenance of a 22KV substation, including 800A CG make VCB and AB switches for the Phase-I project.  Selected, installed, and maintained APFC panels for KVAr compensation to optimize power consumption. Designed and implemented complete earthing systems as per IS-3043 standards.  Approved technical specifications for transformers, diesel generators, switchgear, PCC & MCC, AMF panels, and LT motors for the Phase-II project, as well as master SLD, GA & IA of MCC panels, HVAC layout, and automatic fire detection & alarm system drawings.  Performed bus bar and cable sizing calculations according to IS standards, as well as sizing calculations for transformers, generators, and UPS systems, and conducted FAT and SAT for transformers and generators.

 Designed and developed MCC, PCC, and PLC panels, including the selection of contactors, relays, MCCBs, and MPCBs for various feeders. Designed VFD panels up to 55KW and prepared detailed wiring drawings. Created and implemented 110KW Siemens soft starter panels for pumps, including performing Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT). Prepared single-line diagrams (SLD), bill of materials (BOM), and power, control, and PLC I/O wiring schemes for the project. Developed earthing layouts and cable routing layouts and conducted sizing as per IS standards while also designing APFC panels and harmonics filters. Participated in technical meetings with clients to ensure project completion and accuracy, and performed sizing calculations for transformers, generators, and UPS systems, including bus bar sizing calculations.

 Conducted periodic maintenance of transformers with OLTC up to 2000 KVA and Cummins make generators up to 1000 KVA. Maintained EE make LT switchgears up to 3200 Amps, APFC panels, UPS systems, and battery banks. Performed testing and maintenance of motors up to 400 HP, submersible pumps up to 12.5 HP with star-delta starters, and electrical equipment in the boiler plant. Managed and reduced power consumption of single-phase loads by installing energy-saving panels. Ensured maintenance of maximum demand (MD) within limits and conducted periodic and breakdown maintenance of motor and lighting feeders, OCBs, and MOCBs. Operated and maintained electrical equipment, ensuring efficient performance and compliance with safety standards.
