AIX Architect for I/O, Networking, VIOS (Virtual I/O Server), open-source and user space. I provide strategic direction for AIX development based on business and customer needs. Leading AI solution on AIX that involves porting open source AI frameworks on AIX and working with ISVs to integrate them in their software. I provide strategic direction and coordination for open source software porting on AIX and delivery from AIX toolbox (https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/aix-toolbox-linux-applications-downloads-alpha). I am leading AI solutions for AIX. This includes porting open source ML/DL libraries and packages on AIX, creating solutions with existing ML/DL software with AIX. My primary responsibilities are AIX commands and libraries, AIX binary compatibility and compliance to UNIX standards.

Led many AIX and Linux device driver projects. Delivered first CAPI device driver on AIX. Worked on the porting of Linux device driver on little endian power. In mid of 2016 I also started leading AIX open source software development and AIX user space. I was responsible for all open source software delivery on AIX from AIX toolbox, AIX user space (AIX commands and libraries) and AIX Single UNIX Standard conformance. Led and worked on some of the key fibre channel device driver feature delivery on AIX. Following are the key projects that I worked- Target mode implementation on Emulex FC driver stack.- Target mode implementation on QLogic FC driver stack.- QLogic FCoE (Fibre Channel over Ethernet) driver for AIX.- T10 Data protection in FC driver stack.- NPIV (N_Port ID Virtualization) for VIOS/AIX on Emulex FC adapter.- NPIV for VIOS/AIX on QLogic FC adapter.

Team lead AIX India device driver team.Moved to India from USA. Started an AIX device driver team in India. Trained the newly boarded team members with AIX kernel and device drivers. Gave training in Fibre channel and storage. Built a very successful AIX device driver team that finally led many key projects and delivery for AIX device drivers.

Worked on development and support of AIX storage devices driver. Handled customer issues and internal defects. Following are the key projects I worked during this time- Enhanced AIX FC drivers to support common HBA library.- Enhanced AIX device drivers to support FC 4G dual port adapter on AIX.- Enhanced AIX MPIO driver to support path priority.- Involved in lot of other small features development for AIX Storage Drivers.- Worked on different customer issues related to FC and SCSI.- Worked on defect fixing of FC, SCSI and MPIO device drivers.

Team lead AIX FVT team and led the team and grew it to 20 members from just 4. Worked on development and support for AIX commands and library. - Led AIX kernel FVT team. - Enhanced AIX command and libraries for different customer requirements. - Enhanced vi editor to support large files.- Worked on AIX Kernel support.

In C-DAC I worked for development for C-DAC first tera flop super computer PARAM PADMA.- Developed Linux Device Driver and VIPL library for C-DAC’s CCP-III (VI architecture supported HBA).- Developed AIX Device Driver and VIPL library for C-DAC’s CCP-III (VI architecture supported HBA).- Ported the CCP-III device driver from Linux Kernel 2.2 to Linux Kernel 2.4.- Developed a Solaris PCI based character mode driver for testing. - Developed a VI (Virtual Interface) based test environment on Linux and AIX for testing of PARAMNET-II.- Represented our group in the installation of PARAM-PADMA. - Did Multi-node testing on PARAM-PADMA.
