• Coordinate with group companies for collation of tax returns and mitigate/resolve critical issues identified.• Prepare and file monthly VAT Returns for group companies & joint venture companies, payment of VAT liability and reconciliation.• Preparing reconciliation report of VAT return filed.• Preparing and presenting impact assessment of Corporate Tax of UAE.• Knowledge of Corporate Tax and transfer pricing for multinational enterprises.• Presenting and conducting VAT training workshops for clients.• Assuring full Tax compliance as per Executive Regulations of Federal Decree-Law.• Conducting VAT reviews and providing opinions on VAT scenarios for clients. Advising on VAT savings for clients and identifying exposure in respect of VAT.• Work with IT functions to ensure that systems are in line with VAT Law.

• Oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying financial transactions• Maintaining the integrity of the general ledger, including a chart of accounts• Preparing reports on sales, segment-wise sales, and gross profit, overdue debtors, creditors, and stock• Preparing, reviewing, reconciling, and submitting the VAT return • Maintaining and reporting project reports on a quarterly basis and year-end • Handling accounts payable and overdue Receivable • Performing quarterly spot checks to verify accuracy of storage facilities, labelling, stock quantity, stock valuation, and taking prompt corrective action to prevent any disruptions
