While working with startups and SMEs during the InternHacks series at CampusHash, I came to learn about the various oddities and inefficiencies that plagued the state of technical hiring. After graduating from college in 2014, I decided to start DoSelect to solve that pain point.The core of DoSelect is the code evaluation engine I had architected while I was still in college. Building on top of it, we built a powerful technical assessment platform which supported evaluation on not just coding chops, but holistic skills such as data science/machine learning, full-stack application development, UI / UX, mobile application development, etc.
I had started CampusHash in the pre-final year at NIT Jamshedpur. We provided paid technical workshops in colleges across the country on technologies like Python, Google App Engine, and Web design with HTML5.CampusHash also organized "InternHacks", a series of college hackathons which enabled startups to hire interns from colleges.CampusHash was committed to popularising state-of-the-art technologies of the web among the students in India. The idea was born out of the absence of relevant curriculum in Indian schools and colleges which could bring the students closer to the computer industry. To fill this void, CampusHash provided workshops in colleges and schools on latest tools and technologies used in IT industry.
Design From The Heart was a web-applications design firm that I started from my college dorm in the sophomore year at NIT Jamshedpur. We specialised in creating web and mobile applications for small businesses in India. Most of our clients were industries in and around Jamshedpur.
