As a performance specialist working with athletes from a wide variety of sports, I help design training programs and systems that are aimed at improving specific and overall human performance. As part of my current organisation I have experience working with athletes spread across sub junior, junior, youth and senior age groups. These athletes compete at various levels of competition ranging from local leagues and the elite (Olympic) levels.In my role I have experience and expertise in designing long term development programs for developing athletes, sport specific training curriculum and pedagogy for a variety of sports and tactical training protocols for military personnel.I have also been engaged in various mentorship programs for aspiring coaches. This involves coaching education specific to sports science and coaching pedagogy to help improve qualitative aspects and other soft skills of coaching.Having personally competed at various levels in a variety of sports under a number of coaches, I have an understanding of an athletes point of view in sport along with coaching exposure. This allows me to break down sporting movement well and apply concepts of sport science to design well rounded training programs and systems.Additionally a background in engineering coupled with a NSCA CSCS qualification and about 4 years of on field experience, I have a great understanding of the various concepts in the field of sports science and medicine. This empowers me to work with a diverse team of Physiotherapists, performance therapists, sports and data scientists, skill coaches and of course Strength and conditioning specialists.
