We design digital services which change the way people work. My strongest leg as a UX Design Expert is in the concepting phase. We facilitate Design Driver -workshops where we open the thinking once more, bring in new perspectives, dig out the real drivers for the thing and help prioritising. Then we form a common understanding of the product or service at hand, in other words, a concept. This is important, because with one set of requirements you still can create tens of different user experiences. This phase is followed by the hands-on UI design work, which certainly gives the highest highs and lowest lows in this job. In practise design here means concept validation, sketching, wireframes, UI mock-ups, done together with development team. I also operate as an account manager, this includes contacting, consulting, sales and executing projects as a designer and/or project manager. I'm responsible for Linja's marketing. This means forming our marketing strategy and plan, communicating in our social media channels and also organising marketing actions and events. By shuffling the hats, I make sure currents customers stay happy and new ones get interested. Are there enough videos already? I don't think so. Not the kind that are worth watching anyway. As a Video Producer I do marketing, sales, concepting, scripting, directing, editing and managing the video projects. Bringing customers' stories to life is the best part of user experience design. Video is by far the strongest media for this.Inventing is close to my heart. In this position it's not so much about filing patent applications but improving every day work. Ideas, which create new projects, new ways of working and open eyes for new possibilities, make it all more meaningful and fun. -
