IFTTT is an automation platform that allows everyday people to connect different products (like Amazon Alexa and Google Sheets) and create “If This Then That” scripts without engineering knowledge. I joined as a Senior Data Scientist at IFTTT and later managed the Data Team. My contributions at IFTTT include:- Drove company-wide changes to make IFTTT into a more data-driven company. This included identifying KPIs, building dashboards and data pipelines, and educating the Engineering and GTM teams on using data to make decisions- Created customer-facing dashboard and reports for IFTTT platform partners- Revamped the A/B testing methodology and analytics tools to generate more accurate insights for product decisions- Led a team of Data Scientists to create the first Applet recommendation engine for the landing page- PM’ed a major platform refresh to launch IFTTT Applets

TellApart was an AdTech startup that served large online retailers. TellApart was later acquired by Twitter. Highlights of my contributions at TellApart include:- First Data Science hire & reported directly to the CEO- Defined KPIs for the business and product- Led bidding strategy on all ad exchanges- Created models to optimize bidding effectiveness, which led to TellApart being ranked as the most efficient bidder on ad exchanges- Built A/B testing framework for both internal and external customers, and oversaw all experiments at TellApart

M-Factor tackled attribution analysis for Consumer Goods manufacturers. M-Factor worked closely with clients, using both proprietary data on sales volume, trade promotions and marketing activities, etc., as well as macroeconomic trends to provide insights on drivers of ROI and growth.
