Sanshey started off as a tech journalist after graduating as an engineer from Amity University, Rajasthan. He joined Sunday Guardian, where he also covered lifestyle, food, culture, and sports. After he left Sunday Guardian, Sanshey joined the tech vertical of Hindustan Times. He then became part of the Mobile Journalism team and helped set up systems in bureaus across the country. Since then, he’s helped publications build their multimedia presence while working as a consultant and through his company, In Old News.
