Developed quality plans for inspection of SEC items.

- Handled quality requirements of foreign collaborator for Vizag Steel Plant Projects to the satisfaction of collaborator Danielli Corus UK. - Led the overall activities for planning, execution and quality assurance of power plant projects at Jharsuguda and Angul and managed around 100 persons including at sites.- Oversaw smooth execution of Vizag Steel Continuous Casting Machine refurbishment project and equipment erection project at Bhushan Steel, Angul (nearing completion).- Played a major role in convincing RINL, Vizag, a PSU to waive off LD through sustained efforts, maintenance of delay records from the outset of the project helped.- Led the timely commissioning of all BOPs required for commercial operation at Tata Steel, Jamshedpur PH # 6 and Tata Power, Haldia. - Officiated as Head and efficiently and managed the entire SBU for 4 months and successfully recovered almost 60 lakhs of old dues from customers.

- Directed the overall shop floor in Heat Treatment Shops, Fabrication shops for HP and LP heaters, heat exchangers as well as welding engineering functions.- Entrusted with the responsibility of conducting quality audits of BHEL fabrication ancillary units around Hyderabad and Trichy.- Administered the installation of power cycle piping and monitored quality control at NTPC Farakka 2 x 500 MW super thermal project site.- Managed a team of people for carrying out welding operations and commissions the projects against challenging situations; first of its kind in BHEL and second time in India X20 Martensitic Steel. - Supervised operations at the CESC 2 X 250 Budge Budge Power Plant in 1998; the only power cycle piping package was awarded to BHEL on the strength of Farakka success. - Successfully guided resources to install and commission 3 x 8.5 MW co-gen plant at IOCL Digboi, Assam in 1997 as the HRSG Package In-charge and assistance in gas turbine commissioning. - Functioned as a construction manager at Bokaro Steel Plant P91 material main steam line installation project; this was the first-of-its-kind P91 Site welding resulting in repeat orders for similar jobs from M/s SAIL. - Credited to the be selected as a part of Central Project Management Team of BHEL Delhi in 2002 and handled various aspects of project management for 3 x 500 MW NTPC Kahalgaon projects and 1x250 MW Tata Power Trombay project. - Nominated as a member of BHEL CMD Special Task Force for NTPC projects; conducted regular lecture sessions on project management, quality norms maintenance and experience sharing to different target groups. - Trained on TQM – EFQM model of process of Quality Measurement System in 2000 and carried out regular TQM audits at various BHEL divisions.
