From the offer of hope through the birth of Christ, to the carols, decorations, lights and family traditions including that magical place, The North Pole.I have been providing authentic visits as Santa since 2004. My first public Santa appearance was at my workplace Children’s Christmas party. The following year (2005), I posted an ad online and had my first paid Santa appearance at a home party with about 40 kids. It was perhaps one the most terrifying yet rewarding experience ever. Thankfully it was a big success, and I went on to repeat that event for several years.MY STYLE:I've come a long way since my first Santa appearances. My suit, mannerisms, knowledge and personality continue to evolve. I found that every visit and interaction is a learning experience.In 2022, I transitioned from a designer yak-hair beard to my own natural beard. Well, the response has been an overwhelming success.My current appearance features one of my premium velvet suits with various styles of fur trim, white cotton gloves (a must) and my thin reading glasses. My genuine leather boots are customised and my leather belt has a real brass buckle. Reindeer bells that look and sound incredible enhance my authenticity. Another unique feature is my branded scent. Yes, I have a unique scent that adds to the experience.ATTRIBUTES:Reliable & Trustworthy: I have and will never cancel an appearance to take “something better”. I believe commitment and integrity are imperative for success.Preparedness: Preparation is key! I believe knowing your audience and personalizing every interaction help to make each visit a success. Up-to-date knowledge on current toys and trends are important, as is being prepared for any question that will come your way and believe me, they will!Flexibility: I schedule visits with time for the unexpected; bad weather, a child not cooperating or even diaper changes.Exceed Expectations: I've found that going above and beyond by looking for ways to add value to a visit, is rewarding for both the client and for me.Experience: 35+ years in the hospitality industry have developed my people skills.Leadership: Attending events as Santa for 20 years has given me the experience to respectfully provide direction prior to and during events.
