As a geospatial researcher, I'm skilled at developing new datasets using machine learning and satellite imagery to address environmental issues. I have worked on projects such as canopy height estimation, fire count prediction, and air quality monitoring. I use Earth Engine, Python, and AWS to create functions to train and deploy ML models, and write white papers on the datasets being in production.I have a master's degree in remote sensing and geomatics from College of Engineering, Guindy, where I learned advanced concepts and techniques in spatial data visualization and analysis. I also have experience as a trainer and a contributor for Spatial Thoughts, a platform that offers courses and tutorials on QGIS, Google Earth Engine, and Python. I enjoy sharing my knowledge and skills with others. I co-organize a geospatial community called Let's Talk Spatial, where we meet monthly to discuss the latest trends and conduct workshops on related topics.
